This is the procedure for testing the all wheel drive ECM. The all wheel drive ECM is located in front of the cab. The all wheel drive ECM controls the all wheel drive system. System Operation

Test Step 1.
- Perform the all wheel drive ECM self-test.

Expected Result:
The all wheel drive ECM is operating correctly.
Results:
- Yes - Stop.
- No - Proceed to test step 2.
Test Step 2.
- Replace the all wheel drive ECM. Use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
