Screed Travel Lock

Usage:

AP-1000B 7HN

------ WARNING! ------

In order to prevent personal injury from accidental screed movement, lock the screed in the RAISED position by using the travel lock lever in order to extend the lock pins, after the screed is fully raised.

Screed travel lock pins

There are two levers on the machine. The levers are located behind the operator station on either side of the machine. The lock pins are used in order to hold the screed in a RAISED position for travel.

  1. Raise the screed to a position that is high enough to extend the lock pins.

  1. Move the lever in order to extend the lock pins to the fullest extension.

  1. Lower the screed onto the lock pins.
