- Clean all parts and inspect all parts. If any parts are worn or damaged, use new Caterpillar parts for replacement.
- Install ring carrier (8) to rotor (7) . Install seal ring (9) to rotor (7) . Use Tooling (B) in order to install retaining ring (6) to rotor (7) .

- Use Tooling (A) and a hydraulic press in order to install bearing race (3) to stator (5) until the race is seated.

- Use Tooling (A) and a hydraulic press in order to install bearing (2) to stator (5) until the bearing is seated.

- Install four bolts (1) and retainer (4) that secures bearing (2) and bearing race (3) in stator (5) .
