Screen (Hoist) - Remove and Install

Usage:

785C 1HW

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Remove the hoist pump manifold. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Manifold (Hoist) - Remove".

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the removal procedure, the exterior of the component should be thoroughly cleaned. This will help to prevent dirt from entering the internal mechanism.

Note: Put identification marks on all hose assemblies and on all tube assemblies for installation purposes. Plug all hose assemblies and all tube assemblies. This helps to prevent fluid loss and this helps to prevent contaminants from entering the system.

Note: The following procedure illustrates the removal and installation of the right hoist screen. This procedure is the same procedure for the removal and installation of the left hoist screen.

Installation Procedure

Note: Cleanliness is an important factor. Before the installation procedure, all parts should be thoroughly cleaned in cleaning fluid. Allow the parts to air dry. Wiping cloths or rags should not be used to dry parts. Lint may be deposited on the parts which may cause later trouble.
