(1) Lubricate the seal and the bore lightly with engine oil.

Use the following procedure to tighten the bolts.

1. Tighten bolts (A) and (B) .

   Torque for bolts ... 1 ± 0.2 N·m (9 ± 2 lb in)

2. Tighten bolts (E) and (F) .

   Torque for bolts ... 5 ± 3 N·m (45 ± 27 lb in)

3. Again tighten bolts (A) and (B) .

   Torque for bolts ... 12 ± 3 N·m (9 ± 2 lb ft)

4. Tighten bolts (C) and (D) .

   Torque for bolts ... 47 ± 9 N·m (35 ± 7 lb ft)

5. Again tighten bolts (E) and (F) .

   Torque for bolts ... 47 ± 9 N·m (35 ± 7 lb ft)
