Start By:
- Remove the torque converter outlet relief valve.

Personal injury can result from parts and/or covers under spring pressure. Spring force will be released when covers are removed. Be prepared to hold spring loaded covers as the bolts are loosened. |

- Use tooling (A) (longer bolts) and release the spring pressure behind cover (1). Remove cover (1) .
- Remove valve spool (5), washers (4), spring (3), and O-Ring seal (2) from relief valve (7) .

- Remove cover (6) and the O-Ring seal. Use Tooling (B) and remove the stop from the other side of the relief valve.
- Remove the sending unit and the switch from relief valve (7) .
- Inspect all of the O-Ring seals for damage. Replace damaged seals with new seals. Clean all parts thoroughly.
