(5) Torque for the 131-2605 Shuttle Valve (Purge) ... 140 ± 5 N·m (103 ± 4 lb ft)

Apply 4C-9507 Retaining Compound to the threads of the shuttle valve prior to assembly.

(6) Torque for the setscrew ... 32.5 ± 2.5 N·m (24 ± 2 lb ft)

Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the setscrew prior to assembly.

(7) Torque for the plug ... 14 N·m (10 lb ft)

(8) Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the setscrew.

(9) Torque for the bolt ... 23 N·m (17 lb ft)

(10) Torque for the plug ... 20 N·m (15 lb ft)

(11) Torque for the plug ... 14 N·m (10 lb ft)

(12) Apply 4C-4030 Thread Lock Compound to the threads of the three screws prior to assembly.

(13) Torque for the eight bolts ... 180 N·m (133 lb ft)

(14) Install the shims in order to obtain dimension (C) (0.2 mm to 0.3 mm).

• 183-5911 Shim (0.1 mm)

• 183-5915 Shim (0.3 mm)

(15) Torque for the nut ... 40 N·m (30 lb ft)

(16) Apply 4C-5300 Gasket Sealant (300 mL (10.3 fl oz)) to the mounting surface.

(17) Torque for the eight bolts ... 275 N·m (203 lb ft)

(18) Torque for the plug ... 14 N·m (10 lb ft)

(19) Torque for the bolt ... 46 N·m (34 lb ft)

(20) End play of the disc should not exceed 0.01 mm (.0004 inch).

(21) Select the correct piston according to the gauge reading. See Table 1.

Note: All pistons must be the same part number.

(22) Measure dimension (D) without shims. Select the correct shim according to the measurement. See Table 2.

(23) Torque for the four bolts ... 35 N·m (26 lb ft)

Apply 4C-9506 Retaining Compound to the threads of the four bolts prior to assembly.
