Slack Adjuster (Rear) - Install
- Inspect all O-ring seals for wear or damage. If necessary, replace the O-ring seals.
- Position the slack adjuster (3) on the manifold. Install two bolts (4) and the washers. Connect two tube assemblies (2) (left and right) from the brake supply lines to slack adjuster (3). Connect supply hose assembly (1) to slack adjuster (3).
- Remove the air from the brake system. Refer to Systems Operation, Testing and Adjusting, "Brake Air System - Purge".
