Installation Procedure
Note: Inspect the O-ring seals. Replace any O-ring seals that are worn or damaged.
Note: Before installation, apply 1U-6396 O-ring Assembly Compound to the O-ring seals.
- Install O-ring seal (21) on the rear spindle.

- Remove two bolts (24) and the two washers. Position Tool (A) . Install the two washers and two bolts (24) .

- Support the service and parking brake (rear) with Tool (A) and a suitable hoist.
- Install service and parking brake (20) . The service and parking brake (rear), weighs approximately 998 kg (2200.2 lb).
- Install the 47 washers and 47 nuts (22) . Tighten the bolts to a torque of 880 ± 80 N·m (649.05 ± 59.01 lb ft).

- Install the 21 washers and 21 nuts (20) . Tighten the bolts to a torque of 1170 ± 40 N·m (862.9 ± 29.5 lb ft).
Note: If the studs were removed, clean the tapped holes in the anchor with a 7/8-9 tap. Apply 9S-3263 Thread Lock Compound to the studs. Tighten the studs to a torque of 400 ± 40 N·m (295.02 ± 29.50 lb ft).
- Remove two bolts (24) and the two washers. Remove Tool (A) . Install the two washers and two bolts (24) . Tighten bolts (24) to a torque of 370 ± 50 N·m (272.9 ± 36.9 lb ft).
- Connect tube assembly (23) . Install O-ring seal (21) , the three washers, and three bolts (19) . Tighten bolts (19) to a torque of 105 ± 20 N·m (77.4 ± 14.7 lb ft).
- Install O-ring seal (18) , elbow (17) , and O-ring seal (16) .
- Connect hose assembly (14) .
- Install O-ring seal (13) , elbow (12) , and O-ring seal (11) .
- Connect hose assembly (15) .
- Install O-ring seal (7) , elbow (6) , and O-ring seal (5) .

- Connect hose assembly (4) .
- Connect tube assembly (8) . Install O-ring seal (10) , the three washers, and three bolts (9) . Tighten bolts (9) to a torque of 105 ± 20 N·m (77.4 ± 14.7 lb ft).
- Remove the air from service and parking brakes (rear) (1) . Refer to Disassembly and Assembly for the purging procedure of the brakes.
Note: Air must not be in the oil of the brake hydraulic system. Air in the system can prevent the complete application of the brakes. The air in the brake system must be purged before the machine is operated.

- Fill the hydraulic tank with oil to the correct level. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual.
End By: Install the rear wheel bearings and Duo-cone seal kits. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Wheel, Brake and Suspension (Front) - Install" for the correct procedure.
