Disassembly Procedure

Start By:

1. Remove the parking brake control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Parking Brake Control Valve - Remove and Install" for the correct procedure.

Note: The only serviceable parts in the parking brake control valve are lever (11), rivet (8), cap nut (5), O-ring seal (6), and O-ring seal (10) .

1. Position parking brake control valve (1) on a suitable work bench.

2. Remove cap nut (5) from body (2) .

3. Remove O-ring seal (6) .

4. Remove spring (3) .

5. Remove seal plate (4) .

6. If necessary, remove setscrew (7) .
