- Loosen two bolts (6) .
- Slide plate (7) until dimension (A) equals 135.0 mm (5.30 inch). Dimension (A) is measured from the bottom edge of the brake pedal to the metal floor of the cab.
- Tighten two bolts (6) .
- Loosen locknuts (1) and (3) .
- Turn control rod (2) until there is a small clearance between roller (4) and brake valve (5) . The small clearance should provide approximately 2.0 mm (.08 inch) of brake pedal travel between roller (4) and the top of brake valve (5) .
Note: When control rod (2) is turned in order to obtain free play at the brake pedal, make sure that the thread engagement is sufficient. The thread engagement of control rod (2) should be 10.0 mm (.40 inch) or more on both ends.
- Tighten locknuts (1) and (3) .
