Window Wiper and Wiper Motor (Rear) - Remove

Usage:

972G 1EW

Removal Procedure

Start By:

  1. Connect the steering frame lock. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock - Separate and Connect".

  1. Move the seat all the way toward the front.

  2. Remove six screws (2) and interior trim (1) from the rear of the cab.

  3. Disconnect electrical connector (4) from wiper motor assembly (3).

  4. Disconnect hose (6). Open cover (5).

  5. Remove nut (8) and the lock washers. Remove wiper arm assembly (7).


    NOTICE

    Damage may occur to the splines on the wiper arm assembly during removal. Replacement of the wiper arm assemblies is recommended to ensure that the splines are properly formed to the shaft.

  6. Remove cap (9).

  7. Support the wiper motor assembly inside the cab. Remove bolt (10) and retaining nut (12).

  8. Remove plate (11), the gasket and the wiper motor assembly.
