SUBJECT: New B Series Telehandler PHS Sub-Module Flashing

PROBLEM:

Currently the 247-7829 PHS module cannot be sub module flashed with the (253-1881) software by dealer technicians because of a machine control software problem with 280-2707 software.

If a PHS module is flashed the following message will be observed:

And then:

SOLUTION:

An interim solution has been identified until new machine control software can be released.

If the machine ECM software part number is 280-2707 or a higher number, do not attempt to flash the machine ECM with a lower numbered software.

If one of the above machines needs to have the machine ECM software flashed or the 247-7829 PHS valve flashed with 253-1881 software, please contact one of the TH Service Engineers listed below for interim software and instructions.

Note: Do not attempt to flash any machine ECM listed within the serial number range above with 262-1938 software.
