PROBLEM
Show/hide table
The existing cylinders can contact the frame on certain 563D, 573D, 2570D, and 2670D Wheel Feller Bunchers. If the existing cylinder makes contact, it can result in slight damage to the frame and/or cylinders.
In order to allow equitable parts availability to all participating dealers, please limit your initial parts order to not exceed 2% of dealership population. This is an initial order recommendation only, and the ultimate responsibility for ordering the total number of parts needed to satisfy the program lies with the dealer.

Lower attachment to the ground and follow all safety guidelines outlined in the service manual when performing the shim installation.
1. Secure the lift cylinder with an appropriate lifting device to allow you to remove the rod end pin on the lift cylinder.
2. If lift cylinder contact is found, install up to three 264-5246 Shims on the outboard side of the lift arm to move the rod end of the cylinder outward enough to eliminate contact with the frame and provide clearance between the cylinder and the frame. Refer to Image1.1.1.
Note B: Use as required to obtain 0.9mm maximum gap between the cylinder rode yoke and lift arm.
