In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS44185" as the Part Number
and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and "T" as the SIMS Description code.
If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code, and "Z" as the SIMS Description Code. |

The existing transmission harness, if positioned incorrectly, can fail on certain 793F Off-Highway Trucks. If the existing harness fails it will cause unplanned downtime in troubleshooting and repair. |

Inspect the transmission harness. If the webbing has been worn through but the insulation on the wires has not been damaged, cover the affected area with electrical tape or another appropriate material and insure the harness is routed correctly, according to the images below, to prevent rubbing in the future. If the wiring has been exposed or damaged, replace the harness and reroute, paying attention to the position of the clips as noted in the attached rework procedure. Refer to Image 1 for an example of a harness that would need to be replaced. |
