Description of Change: Integrated power beyond is now available. The new design contains an internal resolver and has connections for signal and supply directly in the endcover.
Adaptable To: The integrated power beyond configuration described in this article is adaptable to machines equipped with either "priority" or "parallel" flow. "Priority" flow valves were in production in Challenger 35 (8DN1-983), Challenger 45 (1DR1-2037), and Challenger 55 (7DM1-1494) Agricultural Tractors. "Parallel" flow went into production, effective with Challenger 35 (8DN984), Challenger 45 (1DR2038), and Challenger 55 (7DM1495) Agricultural Tractors.
See Table 1 and Illustration 1 and 2 for the necessary parts for machines equipped with "priority" flow. See Table 2 and Illustration 3 for the necessary parts for machines equipped with "parallel" flow. For return oil fittings, refer to the reference article listed above.
NOTE: The valve assembly (endcover) is different, depending on whether you have a machine equipped with or without a three-point hitch.
