Description of Change: An improved 164-6607 Service Brake Group is available to service machines equipped with the 142-5946 Cast Wheel Assembly. The 164-6607 Service Brake Group features a 147-1150 Brake Hub to be used for service on machines equipped with the 142-5946 Cast Rear Wheel.

An improved 8X-9704 Service Brake Group is available to service machines equipped with the 125-0061 Fabricated Wheel Assembly (discontinued). The 8X-9704 Service Brake Group features a 136-7006 Brake Hub to be used for service on machines equipped with the 125-0061 Fabricated Wheel Assembly (discontinued).

NOTE: The 142-5946 Cast Rear Wheel is effective with 789B (7EK660) Off-Highway Trucks.

Adaptable To: The 164-6607 Service Brake Group is effective with 789B (7EK660) Off-Highway Trucks. The 164-6607 Service Brake Group is adaptable to models equipped with the 142-5946 Cast Wheel Assembly. The 8X-9704 Service Brake Group is adaptable to earlier models equipped with the 125-0061 Fabricated Wheel Assembly (discontinued).
