New Brake Calipers Improve Service Life {4256,4251}

Description of Change: New calipers are now used which have 64% wider land thickness between the piston seal and the boot seal. The new calipers also have brake wear measurement holes as standard, and internal changes to the caliper body that prevent mechanical damage to the caliper when the brakes are abused.
Adaptable To: The new 157-8236 Service Brake is a direct replacement for the former 145-4945 Service Brake on all three axles. This change is effective with D350E (9LR579) and D400E (2YR966) Articulated Trucks, and is adaptable to earlier machines. The serviced components remain the same.
