--------------- END SUPPLEMENT ---------------
Description of Change: An improved 8W-3405 and 8W-3406 Air Cylinder Group which will prevent over stroke rod ejection during the brake bleeding procedure is available. The improved air cylinder groups feature an additional 7V-5646 Seal O-Ring which has been assembled onto the 8V-9570 Indicator Rod to help prevent over stroke rod ejection during the brake bleeding procedure. These air cylinder groups can be identified by a stamped date code from 25594 to the present (25594 is equal to 255th day of 1994 or September 12, 1994) and is located in line with the hydraulic reservoir port on the cylinder assembly circumference. Refer to Illustration.
NOTE: The improved air cylinder groups have been used in production since 25595 (September 12, 1994).
Cross section view of cylinder group center area. Date code stamp is located in line with the hydraulic reservoir port on the cylinder assembly circumference.
