New Hoist Cylinders Available For Service Repair {5102}

Usage:

D250D (6NG) Articulated Trucks

Reference: Service Manual Module, SENR8231; Disassembly & Assembly; "Hoist Cylinder", Page 39. This module is part of Service Manual SENR8225.

A new 147-8507 Cylinder Group, along with a new 6V-8633 Connector and 3D-2824 O-Ring Seal, is a direct replacement for the former 7U-6405 Cylinder Group. The new cylinder has improved sealing capabilities which prevent dirt and water ingress and leaks. The connector and O-ring adapt the larger bottom port in the new cylinder.

The existing 7U-6405 Cylinder Group can also be modified to improve sealing capabilities. To modify the hoist cylinders, a new end cap using a vented double lip wiper seal is now available. This improved seal eliminates oil leaks and premature end cap wear by preventing dirt and water ingress in the cylinder. The new 147-8505 End Cap, 149-1488 Lip Seal, and 8C-3841 Seal Assembly replace the former 2U-7394 End Cap and 7U-4137 Wiper Seal. A 5J-8275 U-Cup Seal (Rod Seal) is also required in the new end cap. One is installed in the former end cap. It should be inspected and replaced as necessary.

NOTE: Use the referenced Service Manual to remove and install the hoist cylinders from the machine.
