Description of Change: Improved radiator core assembly available. The improved core assembly features a lead free solder procedure which will increase fatigue strength and corrosion resistance.
Adaptable To: The 150-6296 Radiator Core Assembly is a direct replacement for the former 125-5066 Radiator Core Assembly. The 150-6296 Radiator Core Assembly used in 125-5044 Radiator Group (not serviced) is effective with 773D (7ER557, 558, 628, 635-UP) Off-Highway Trucks and 775D (6KR188, 218, 219, 222-UP) Quarry Trucks and are adaptable to all earlier machines. The 150-6295 Radiator Core Assembly is a direct service replacement for the former 8N-0066 Radiator Core Assembly. The 150-6295 Radiator Core Assembly used in 7N-3487 Radiator Group (not serviced) is adaptable to 772B (64W) Tractors; 773B (63W) Off-Highway Trucks and 775B (7XJ) Quarry Trucks.
NOTE: Repair of improved radiator core assembly should utilize a lead free solder procedure to maintain fatigue strength and corrosion resistance. Repairs can be made with a standard leaded solder procedure. Leaded solder will decrease fatigue strength and corrosion resistance in repaired areas.
