Electronic Control Module (ECM)
Usage:
Remove & Install Electronic Control Module (ECM)
NOTE: Before removing the electronic control module, refer to the topic "Programming New Electronic Control Modules" in the Electronic Trouble Shooting module, form SENR5191, for further information.
1. Disconnect wire harness (1) and ground strap (3) from electronic control module (5). Check the condition of the seal located beneath the connector of harness (1). Replace the seal with a new one if needed.
2. Disconnect fuel lines (2) and (6). Plug and cap all openings to prevent debris from entering the system.
3. Support electronic control module (5). Remove bolts (4).
4. Remove electronic control module (5).
5. To install electronic control module (5), position the module and reverse the procedures and steps 1 through 4.
