Drive Shaft (Pump Drive)

Usage:

Remove & Install Drive Shaft (Pump Drive)

1. Remove the guard assembly that covers the drive shaft.

2. Remove eight bolts (4) that hold drive shaft (1) to the pump drive and yoke (2). Remove the drive shaft from the machine.

3. If necessary, remove the bolts that hold spiders (3) to the drive shaft, and remove the spiders.

NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the drive shaft.

4. If spiders (3) were removed, put the spiders in position on the drive shaft, and install the bolts that hold them in place. Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 ± 5 N·m (41 ± 4 lb ft).

5. Put drive shaft (1) in position, and install bolts (4). Tighten the bolts to a torque of 55 ± 5 N·m (41 ± 4 lb ft).

6. Install the guard assembly that covers the drive shaft.
