Usage:
Start By:
a. remove all turbochargers with support group
1. Mark for identification and disconnect wires (1).
2. Remove the bolts and elbow (2) from the front of the aftercooler.
3. Mark for identification and disconnect wires (3).
4. Remove tube assembly (4).
5. Disconnect and remove the tube assembly from tee (5).
6. Disconnect and remove the tube assembly from tee (6).
7. Fasten a hoist and tooling (A) to cover (7). Remove the bolts that hold both after coolers to the engine. Remove the after coolers and the gaskets. The weight of both after coolers, the tee and the cover is 94 kg (207 lb).
NOTE: The following steps are for the installation of the after coolers.
8. Use new gaskets. Install the after coolers and cover (7) on the engine. Install the bolts.
9. Connect the tube assembly to tee (6).
10. Connect the tube assembly to tee (5).
11. Install tube assembly (4). Connect wires (3) in the proper locations.
12. Install elbow (2). Connect wires (1) in their proper locations.
