Air Compressor

Usage:

Remove & Install Air Compressor

1. Drain the coolant from the radiator.

2. Release the pressure from the air system.

------ WARNING! ------

Make sure all of the pressure is released from the air system before disconnecting any air lines. Failure to release the pressure can cause the air to release rapidly when the lines are disconnected and could cause personal injury.

3. Disconnect tube assemblies (1) and (5).

4. Disconnect tube assembly (3) if equipped.

5. Disconnect hose assembly (2) from the air compressor.

6. Remove tube assembly (4) from the air compressor.

7. Disconnect tube assembly (8) and two hose assemblies (9).

8. Remove four nuts (6) and air compressor (7) from the engine.

9. Remove the gasket from the air compressor.

NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the air compressor.

10. Put the gasket and air compressor (7) in position on the front of the engine, and install four nuts (6).

11. Connect tube assembly (8) and two hose assemblies (9).

12. Install tube assembly (4).

13. Connect hose assembly (2) and tube assemblies (1) and (5) to the air compressor.

14. Connect tube assembly (3), if equipped.

15. Fill the cooling system with coolant to the correct level. See the Operation & Maintenance Manual.
