Usage:

To prevent possible personal injury, make sure all the pressure in the air system has been released before any air lines are disconnected. |

1. Release the air pressure from the system.
2. Remove the cover from the side of the shift console.
3. Put identification marks on hoses (3) for installation purposes. Disconnect hoses (3) from brake control valve (1).
4. Remove two screws (2) and brake control valve (1).
NOTE: The following steps are for installation of the brake control valve.
5. Put brake control valve (1) in position in the shift console, and install two screws (2) to hold it.
6. Connect hoses (3) to brake control valve (1).
7. Put the cover in position on the side of the shift console, and install the screws that hold it.
Disassemble & Assemble Brake Control Valve (Parking)
Start By:
a. remove brake control valve (parking)
1. Remove nut (8) from body (4). Remove the O-ring seal from the nut.
2. Remove spring (7) and valve (6) from body (4).
3. Remove rivet (5) and lever (1) from body (4).
4. Remove plunger (2) and spring (3) from body (4). Remove the O-ring seal from plunger (2).
NOTE: The following steps are for assembly of the brake control valve.
5. Install the O-ring seal on plunger (2). Put spring (3), plunger (2) and lever (1) in position in body (4). Install rivet (5) through lever (1) and body (4).
6. Install the O-ring seal on nut (8). Put valve (6) and spring (7) in position in body (4), and install nut (8) to hold them.
