Several improvements need to be made to the 3126 Engine in certain Lexion 450, Lexion 460, Lexion 465, Lexion 480, Lexion 485 Combines. The ATAAC needs to be replaced to lower the air inlet temperature, the water temp sender needs to be relocated to correct false readings, and the throttle control hydraulic line is being replaced with a more durable line.

Replacing The Air-to-Air Aftercooler
173-9226 ATTAAC Kit
Consisting of:
1. Remove tubes from turbo to air-to-air aftercooler (pos. A) and from air-to-air aftercooler to engine (pos. B).
2. Rotate radiator screen open and fasten in this top position. Unbolt radiator screen bracket (pos. C).
3. Unbolt bracket (pos. D) plust stop angle (pos. E). Lift oil cooler out of lower turning point and swivel to side as far as possible.
4. Remove lhs and rhs bracket (pos. F). Take aftercooler out of cooler housing.
5. Fit existing rubber mounts (pos. G) to new aftercooler 173-1269.
6. Put new aftercooler into cooler housing and fasten with new brackets 173-1270 (pos. F).
7. Reassemble machine in opposite sequence.
NOTE: When installing aftercooler make sure hoses and aftercooler are clean. Do not damage aftercooler during installation process.
174-3789 Lines Kit
Install new line and secure it exactly the same way as the removed line.
174-3679 Kit - Temp Sender
Consisting of:
1. Preassemble new temperature sender 174-3680 as well as seal ring 148-0393, adapter 154-9080 and O-Ring 154-7606.
2. Drain appr. 5 liters of radiator coolant.
3. Remove old temperature sender (pos. A). Plug threaded hole with 174-3681. NOTE: Use Teflon-tape
4. Remove plug (Pos. B) and install new temperature sender 174-3680.
5. Reconnect wire harness and secure with existing clips.
6. Refill radiator with coolant.
7. Start engine and check system for leakages.
