Certain 1R0749 Fuel Filter Assemblies Need To Be Removed From Parts Stock Caterpillar

Problem

Certain 1R0749 Fuel Filter Assemblies need to be removed from Parts Stock.

Action Required

Remove all 1R0749 Fuel Filters from Parts Stock with date codes prior to June 1, 1995. The date code will appear on the master box and the yellow filter carton in MMDDYY format (i.e. 050195 equals May 1, 1995).

Service Claim Allowances

Submit one claim for all 1R0749 Fuel Filter Assemblies removed from parts stock.

NOTE: US and Canadian Dealers Only - When submitting a parts stock claim use 99Z00007 in the Product Identification Number field.

Parts Disposition

Handle the parts in accordance with your Warranty Bulletin on warranty parts handling.
