NOTE: This Program can be administered either before or after a failure. In either case the decision whether to apply the Program is made by the dealer. When reporting the repair, use "PS8413" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. If administered before failure, use "56" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "T" as the SIMS Description Code. If administered after failure, use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.

The heater hose lines may fail resulting in loss of engine coolant on certain Challenger 45 Tractors operating in brushy and tall crop applications.

Action Required
1. Remove the existing wraps from the heater hoses.
2. Install a 1.8 m length of 6V5817 Conduit-Flex over each of the heater hoses as shown in the Illustration below. The conduit flex should be installed between the engine end of the two hoses and the point at which they enter the right front ROPS post.
3. Also, as shown in the Illustration, reroute the hoses to the top of the oil cooler lines and above the radar mounting location at the inside of the right rear frame rail.
