When reporting the repair, use "PS0854" as the Part Number and "7755" as the Group Number. Use "96" as the Warranty Claim Description Code and use "Z" as the SIMS Description Code.
NOTE: Although this Program is to be administered as described above on the Affected Product, parts should be removed from Parts Stock as soon as possible.
Termination Date

The centering spring (which brings the joystick back to a neutral position when released) can fail, allowing the joystick to fall in any direction on certain RT80 and RT100 Material Handlers. This may be preceded by the joystick feeling loose. If engagement occurs, the machine could function as if the joystick was intentionally moved to that position.
NOTE: Machines with serial numbers after the effective range may have had their joystick controllers replaced as a result of an earlier repair. Machines that fall into this category, may be eligible for this program. If a SIMS investigation confirms an earlier joystick controller replacement, and it fails in the manner described in this service letter, then administer this program. You must then reference this situation in the "story" portion of the claim.
