Loose Bolts And/Or Bracket Can Cause Air Compressor Failures

Usage:

3208 Truck Engines Used in 1975-76C and CT Series Ford Trucks

It is possible to have an air compressor failure if the bolts and/or bracket become loose and permit too much vibration. To prevent a possible failure, shorter bolts can be installed on the bracket and a new stabilizer bracket can be installed. If it becomes necessary to make this repair, check with your Ford Dealer. He can give you the correct information about how much torque to use and how the new stabilizer bracket is to be installed.
