Description of Change: Reports indicated that on a cold start, the transmission oil pump could cavitate. This occurred because of a vortex effect in the sump. To prevent the transmission oil pump from cavitating, the oil level in the sump has been raised by adding approximately 6 liters (1.6 gal) of oil to the sump.

The plunger assembly (dipstick) in the 3V6312 Power Train Oil Filler Group was changed to reflect this new, higher oil level.

Adaptable As: The new 6W8344 Plunger Assembly is a direct replacement for the 4V308 Plunger Assembly which is canceled. The new 6W8344 Plunger Assembly in the 3V6312 Power Train Oil Filler group is in effect with 926 Loader 94Z1307 and IT28 Toolcarrier 2KC903. The new plunger assembly is adaptable to all earlier machines.
