Description of Change: A new position sensor group (throttle) is used on the above engines.

The new position sensor group includes a modified metal shell that reduces mounting stresses and has a different potting material. These changes should minimize cracks introduced along the plastic/potting interface during installation.

The new position sensor group also includes changes to the electronics that provide more consistent sensor operation under fault conditions such as low battery voltage or output short circuit.

Adaptable To: The new 161-8906 Position Sensor Group (Throttle) replaces the former 110-8190 Position Sensor Group (Throttle) on the above engines.
