Use Only CC Or CD Oil In Final Drives{4070}
Usage:
All Caterpillar Track-Type Tractors And Track-Type Loaders
In the past, several different types of lubricants have been used in the final drives for Caterpillar track-type Tractors and track-type Loaders.
The current recommendation is to use only CC or CD oil in the final drives for these machines.
The chart which follows shows the correct viscosity to use for specific temperature ranges.
For operation in temperatures colder than those given in the chart, see the Cold Weather Guide, Form No. SEBU5338.
Do NOT use multiple viscosity oils or gear lubricants in this application.
