Description of Change: Changes have been made to the final drive group on D5B Tractors and 561D Pipelayers. A new pinion shaft, pinion shaft bearings and a bearing cage are now used. Also, a new hub, gear, final drive case and an extension are used. The new components will give longer service life and the strength of the extension joint is increased.

Adaptable To: The new parts, used together, are a direct replacement for the former parts.
