New Hoist Cylinder Hose Prevents Contact With Rear Frame{5057,5102}

D25C Trucks

Description of Change: Two of the body hoist cylinder hoses (one on each side of the truck) can contact the sides of the rear frame when the body is raised. To avoid this condition, the hoses have been replaced with hoses which are 250 mm (10") shorter in length and are routed to avoid contact with the frame.

Adaptable To: This change is in effect with 9YC940. The replacement hoses can be installed on earlier D25C Trucks. Two 6U7720 Hose Assemblies are required, one for each hoist cylinder.

Park the machine with the dump body fully lowered and the hoist control in the FLOAT position. Install the new hoses at the head end of the cylinder in place of the two former 4U6698 Hoses shown in the illustration. Check the hose routing with the body in both up and down positions. Adjust the hoses to obtain the best routing.
