Usage:
1. Install Tooling (B) on the top of the cab, as shown. Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains to Tooling (B).
2. Using the hoist, carefully put the cab in position on the loader frame. The weight of the cab assembly is 1250 kg (2756 lb).
3. Install bolts (34) and (35), the nuts and the washers that hold the lower cab mount assemblies to the rear frame. Tighten the cab mounting bolts to a torque of 900 ± 100 N·m (660 ± 75 lb ft).
4. Install cover (33), four bolts (32) and the washers.
5. Install three bolts (31) and the washers that hold the front mounting bracket to the cab. Tighten bolts (31) to a torque of 620 ± 80 N·m (460 ± 60 lb ft).
6. Install cover (30), three bolts (29) and the washers.
7. Install bolt (27), nut (28) and the washers that hold the rear cab mount assembly to the rear frame. Tighten bolt (27) to a torque of 900 ± 100 N·m (660 ± 75 lb ft).
8. Install cover (26), four bolts (25) and the washers.
9. Install cover (24), two bolts (23) and the washers.
10. Connect fire suppression system hose assembly (21) (if equipped) to the bulkhead on the cab.
11. Connect the lower five hose assemblies (22) to the bulkhead on the cab.
12. Connect the upper seven hose assemblies (20) to the bulkhead on the cab.
13. Connect two air conditioning hose assemblies (19) (if equipped) to the cab.
14. Connect two heater hoses (18) (if equipped) to the cab.
15. Connect the three windshield washer hoses (if equipped) to connectors (17).
16. Connect cable (16) to the cab.
17. Connect harness connectors (13), (14) and (15) to the cab.
18. Connect the earth cable to the cab and install bolt (12) and the washer.
19. Install two hose clips (11) that secure the air conditioning hoses (if equipped) to the rear frame.
20. Install cover (10), three bolts (9) and the washers.
21. Install cover (8), two bolts (7) and the washers.
NOTE: Perform Steps 22 through 24 on machines equipped with an enclosed cab.
22. Put cab pressurizer assembly (5) in position near the mounting flange on the cab. Connect the wiring harness for the cab pressurizer at connector (6).
23. Install a suitable cable strap to hold connector (6) to the earth wire, as shown.
24. Install cab pressurizer assembly (5), four bolts (4), the nuts and the washers on the cab.
25. Install Tooling (A) on rear fender assembly (3), as shown. Attach a hoist and suitable lifting chains to Tooling (A) and put the fender assembly in position on the machine. The weight of fender assembly (3) is 52 kg (115 lb).
26. Install retainer strip (2), four bolts (1) and the washers that hold the rear fender assembly to the cab.
27. Fill the cooling system with coolant. Refer to Operation and Maintenance Manual for the machine that is being serviced.
28. Evacuate and charge the air conditioner system (if equipped). Refer to Service Manual, SENR5664, "Air Conditioning and Heating Systems with R-134a Refrigerant" for the correct procedure. Refer to Special Publication, NEDG5065, "Air Conditioning Tools" for the correct tools.
End By:
a. Install the service brake control valve. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Brake Control Valve (Service) - Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
b. Rearm the fire suppression system (if equipped). For the correct procedure, refer to the fire system manufacturer's service information.
c. Remove the steering frame lock pin. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Steering Frame Lock Pin - Remove and Install" for the machine that is being serviced.
