Usage:
Start By:
a. Remove the torque converter scavenge pump. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, "Torque Converter Scavenge Pump - Remove" for the machine that is being serviced.
NOTE: Thoroughly clean the outside of the torque converter scavenge pump prior to disassembly.
1. Remove two bolts (1) and remove manifold (2) from the torque converter scavenge pump. Remove the O-ring seal from manifold (2).
2. Remove two bolts (3) and remove manifold (4) from the torque converter scavenge pump. Remove the O-ring seal from manifold (4).
3. Remove six bolts (5) and remove manifold assembly (6) from the torque converter scavenge pump.
4. Remove O-ring seal (7) and bearings (8) from manifold assembly (6).
NOTE: Put identification marks on drive gear and idler gear assemblies (9) for installation purposes.
5. Remove drive gear and idler gear assemblies (9) from the body and cover assemblies.
6. Separate cover assembly (10) from body assembly (11). Remove the O-ring seal from the cover assembly.
7. Remove bearings (12) from cover assembly (10).
8. Remove O-ring seal (13) and lip seal (14) from cover assembly (10).
