New Coolant Hose For Exhaust Bypass Valve{1380,1057}

Usage:

G3408 (6NB, 6FW),
G3408B (6RJ),
G3408C (3WR, 8YR),
G3412 (7DB, 3NK, 5KR, 8LW),
G3412C (6ZM, 9RR) Gas Engines

Description of Change: The new turbocharger water lines groups on the above serial numbers have a new exhaust bypass coolant hose. This hose is compatable with the tolerance stack-up that is allowed on the G3408(TA) and G3412(TA) Engines. The new hose assembly replaces the former tube assembly and eliminates a reducer and elbow. The new hose assembly will eliminate any misalignment that can occur during the assembly of the tubes in the water lines group. See the Illustration below for the orientation of the tee and the routing of the new hose assembly.

Adaptable To: The new 111-6835, 111-6836 and 118-7673 Turbocharger Water Lines Groups have a new 160-0442 Hose Assembly. The new 160-0442 Hose Assembly replaces the former 120-6831 Tube Assembly on the G3408B (6NB, 6RJ, 6FW), G3408C (3WR, 8YR), G3412 (3NK, 7DB) and G3412C (6ZM, 5KR, 9RR, 8LW) Gas Engines. The new hose assembly also eliminates the 090-2782 Reducer and the 6K-9194 Elbow. Refer to the Chart below for the effectivity of the turbocharger lines groups.
