Description of Change: The inlet manifold gasket for the flame arrestor has been updated to withstand higher operating temperatures. The gasket is adaptable to all G3500 Gas Engines. This new seal is a metal core graphite. The seal increases the sealing capabilities and withstands higher temperatures in the joint.
Adaptable To: The new 153-8455 Manifold Gasket replaces the former 7N-5080 Manifold Gasket. The new gasket is adaptable for all G3500 Gas Engines. It is recommended that Caterpillar 5H-2471 Rubber Adhesive be used to hold the gasket in place.
