Usage:
start by:
a) remove fuel filter base
b) remove fuel priming pump
c) remove variable timing unit
1. Disconnect fuel drain line (3).
2. Remove nuts and bolts (1) from accessory drive housing.
3. Remove the accessory drive housing (2) from the engine.
Install Accessory Drive Housing
1. Put the accessory drive housing (1) in place on the engine.
2. Install the nuts and bolts.
3. Connect the fuel drain line (2).
end by:
a) install variable timing unit
b) install fuel priming pump
c) install fuel filter base
Disassemble Accessory Drive Housing
start by:
a) remove accessory drive housing
1. Remove bolts (2) and the accessory drive gear (1).
2. Remove bolts (6), lock and thrust plate (7).
3. Remove drive shaft (5) and coupling (4) from the accessory drive housing.
4. Remove the bolts from the bearing cage and remove the bearing cage.
5. Use tooling (A) to remove the bearing from the bearing cage.
Assemble Accessory Drive Housing
1. Install the bearing in the bearing cage using tooling (A). The oil hole in bearing must be in alignment with oil hole in bearing cage. Install bearing cage (1).
2. Put coupling (4) in place in the accessory drive housing.
3. Put clean oil on the bearing (2) and shaft (3). Install shaft (3).
4. Install the thrust plate, lock and bolts.
5. Install the drive gear and bolts.
