Do Not Prefill Secondary Fuel Filter
Usage:
1.1 Liter Family Of Engines
When the secondary fuel filter is changed on the 1.1 liter family of engines (3114, 3116 Engines), do not prefill the filter can. Install the new filter element dry.
Although adding fuel does help to prime the fuel system, it is not a good practice because dirt or foreign material might be introduced into the fuel system. This can cause premature wear in the unit injectors.
