Fuel Manifolds Changed To Steel

Usage:

3508, 3512, 3516 Industrial, Generator Sets, Marine, And Vehicular Engines

Description of Change: The above engines now use one-piece steel fuel manifolds in place of the multi-piece aluminum manifolds. The steel manifolds are stronger and there is less possibility of stripping the threads. New fuel lines and associated parts are also used.

Adaptable To: The new manifolds are effective with serial numbers listed in Chart A.

The new fuel manifolds and other new parts used are listed in Chart B. The new manifolds, and the applicable connecting parts, can be installed on earlier engines.
