Top Shaft Wear Sleeve For 7241 Marine Transmissions Can Be Used On 7231 Marine Transmissions
Usage:
Reference: Special Instruction SMHS8039, "Installation Of 3T9227 Wear Sleeve".
Add a Note to the above Special Instruction that the same procedure and parts can also be used to salvage the transmission case on 7231 Marine Transmissions. The 3T9227 Wear Sleeve is not used in production 7231 Transmissions. For your reference, the parts needed are listed in the chart.
The wear sleeve is adaptable to 7231 Transmissions, 17W1-up.
