Usage:
3400 Series Industrial, Generator Set, Marine And Natural Gas Engines
Description of Change: A new cylinder liner is available for use on the engines listed above. The new cylinder liner decreases the liner-to-block diametral clearance from .305 ± .102 mm (.0120 ± .0040") to .152 ± .102 mm (.0060 ± .0040"). The change will help prevent O-ring seal fretting caused by cylinder liner motion.
Adaptable As: The new 7W3550 Liner is in effect on the engines shown in the chart and can be adapted to all earlier engines.
