Startup screen |
The display will start up automatically after turning the key switch to the ON position. While the display is powering up, watch the startup sequence of the system to make sure that the display is operating correctly.
After the Cat logo screen, the display will go through the startup test which includes all lamps flashing and alarm ON for 1 second.
If the machine is equipped with a Machine Security System (MSS), see the next section, "Operator Login".
If MSS is not installed, the monitor will proceed to the home screen.

After turning the engine start switch to the ON position, the Passcode prompt screen will appear.

Note: If a Bluetooth key fob is being used, the Passcode prompt screen will not appear. The operator information home screen will appear.
Enter a registered passcode on the display or on the right-side switch panel when the passcode dialog screen appears, and select Enter to confirm password. If passcode is not available, you will be able to bypass log in as a guest. Some menu features will not be available such as the options for saving configurations and operator management.
After an operator logs in to the system successfully, the display will proceed to the home screen.
