Fuel System - Prime
The Electric Priming Pump (EPP) is used to prime the fuel system prior to attempting to start the engine. The fuel priming cycle is an 8 minute cycle.
- Open the fuel supply valve. Ensure that the engine will not start during the priming procedure. Turn the engine start switch to the OFF position.
- Hold switch (1) for the electric fuel priming pump in the ON position for 2 seconds. Holding the switch in the ON position for 2 seconds will engage the priming cycle which will run for 8 minutes. The switch is a momentary switch.
- Perform step 2 for 3 complete 8 minute cycles.
