New Cylinder Head Components Are Now Available for Certain 3508 Generator Set Engines {1100, 1101}

The new cylinder head exhaust valve seats are more robust and a stem seal was added to control lubrication.
In addition, changes were made to the software flashfile.
The new cylinder head components are adaptable to the above engines back to first production.
The new cylinder head components are listed in Table 1.

Rework Procedure
- Remove the cylinder heads from the engine. Refer to Disassembly and Assembly, UENR0181 for additional information.
- Remove the exhaust valves from the 20R-3545 Cylinder Head Gp (Reman).
- Remove both of the exhaust valve seats.
- Install the new exhaust valve seat, stem seal, and rotocoil when reassembling the cylinder heads.
- Install the cylinder heads onto the engine.
- Flash the Electronic Control Module (ECM) with the new software file.
