Keep all parts clean from contaminants. Contaminants may cause rapid wear and shortened component life. |
- Attach a suitable lifting device to turbocharger (5). The weight of turbocharger (5) is approximately
40 kg (88 lb) . Place the gasket and turbocharger (5) on the exhaust manifold. - Apply Tooling (A) to the threads of the bolts. Install the bolts that attach turbocharger (5) to the exhaust manifold.

Illustration 2 g06089467 - Slide clamp (4) on turbocharger (5). Tighten clamp (4).
- Install the O-ring seals on elbow (3). Lubricate the O-ring seals with Tooling (B). Install elbow (3) and the bolts.
- Install the water tube assemblies, if necessary.

- Install the air cleaners.
