(1) Oil filter (transmission)

The oil filter (transmission) (1) is on the left side of the transmission.

The oil filter is a full flow design. To ensure that all contaminants are removed from the transmission oil, the filter base is not equipped with a bypass valve. Oil from the charge pump flows immediately to the oil filter. After the filter, oil then flows to the clutch circuit and to the torque converter inlet.
